Kapintelligence by Kapnative
FOR FUND MANAGERS / GPs

Two ways fund managers use Kapintelligence.

Make your fund easier to diligence for prospective investors - and use the same platform yourself to assess single asset opportunities and co-investments.

You approve before anything is shared. Nothing in your profile becomes visible to an investor until you have approved the content, the recipient and the terms.

TWO USE CASES

Be diligenced. And run diligence yourself.

One platform, two roles: the fund being reviewed, and the manager doing the reviewing.

USE CASE 1 · YOUR FUND IS REVIEWED

Make your fund easier to diligence for prospective investors.

Maintain one current fund profile, let prospective investors review your fund against their own criteria, and answer different DDQs from one approved record - while you control what is shared.

USE CASE 2 · YOU RUN THE REVIEW

Assess single asset opportunities and co-investments yourself.

Use Kapintelligence as the reviewing party. Apply your own criteria to a single asset, a co-investment or a secondary, and produce structured, source-linked output for your own investment decision.

How your own diligence works
USE CASE 1 · THE MANAGER WORKFLOW

Build one verified fund profile. Reuse it across relevant LP diligence requests.

Answer once. Reuse with control. The efficiency comes from reuse, not from giving up oversight.

  1. 01
    Create

Import approved fund documents, standard answers, performance data and disclosures.

  2. 02
    Draft

Generate responses to an LP's questionnaire and flag missing or outdated information.

  3. 03
    Review

Assign sections, correct content and obtain manager and compliance approval.

  4. 04
    Permission

Approve the investor, the documents, the answers and the expiry terms that may be shared.

  5. 05
    Maintain

Update once, retain the change history and reuse only approved current content.

USE CASE 1 · PERMISSION PREVIEW

See exactly what an investor can see - before and after you grant access.

Switch investor and toggle what is shared. The right-hand panel is the investor's actual view of your profile.

USE CASE 2 · YOU AS THE USER

Run your own diligence on single asset opportunities and co-investments.

Fund managers assess opportunities too. Use Kapintelligence as the reviewing party: apply your own criteria to a single asset, a co-investment or a secondary, and produce the same structured, source-linked output your own IC expects.

Single asset opportunities

Assess a direct investment against your own criteria, with the analysis structured rather than assembled by hand.

Co-investments

Review a co-investment alongside the sponsor's material, with every finding traceable to its source.

Financial review

Models, cash flows and key return metrics such as IRR and MOIC, recalculated from the underlying information.

Your own IC output

The same structured memorandum format, prepared for your investment committee rather than an external investor.

The workflow is the same one institutional investors run - legal, commercial and financial review, including models, cash flows and key return metrics such as IRR and MOIC.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

The questions managers ask first.

That a profile exists, with the strategy label you publish. No answers, documents, performance or team detail are visible until you approve the recipient and the content.

Investor organisations are onboarded as tenants with verified domains and named administrators. Invitations are issued by an administrator, and access is granted per person, per fund and per document set.

Yes. Permissions are set per investor and per item: profile summary, individual answer sets, track record, executed documents, fee information and ESG documentation are all separately controlled.

Each answer carries a validity date and a change history. When a source document changes or a validity date passes, the answer moves back to draft and needs manager reapproval before it is shared again.

SOFTWARE AND SERVICES, SEPARATED

Kapintelligence is software. Placement is not part of it.

Visibility inside the software means an investor you approved can read the information you approved. It is not distribution, marketing or an introduction service, and it carries no promise of investor access.

Any regulated placement or distribution activity by Kapnative GmbH is a separate service under separate agreements. Manager confirmation of your own data is not, and is never presented as, independent verification of accuracy by the investor.

Both use cases in one session: your fund profile and permission model, and your own diligence workflow.
